Some Yankee greed and stupidity
The NY Yankees banned sunblock at Yankee stadium “to prevent terrorism.” On a blistering hot day. And sold high-markup, crappy sunblock inside the gates. You know, as soon as we said “There is no price too high to pay in the war on terror,” we lost — and every sleazy con-artist, profiteer, greedhead and crook won.
Yet another example of the NY Yankees stupidity can be found in the comments attached to the original article. No greed angle in this one as far as I can see:

We pointed out the woman next to us entered with a shoulder bag of the exact same proportions. The “security guard” replied that “Only women are allowed to enter with shoulder bags. Men can only bring in fanny packs.”
Stunned by the idiocy of the situation, we moved away from the “security checkpoint”, and proceeded to place the handbag strap inside the bag, and hang the bag from my belt.
We were allowed entry with the hacked “fanny pack”.
Moral of the story is: Terrorists are never Women, and they don’t use fanny packs.
Yankee stadium has a sexist and idiotic security policy.
The comment that best sums up the best approach to the idiots in charge of the NY Yankees is:
I think the answer to all these is the same: STOP GOING TO YANKEE STADIUM.
