Twitter profiles – a guilty pleasure

This is a guilty pleasure or timewaster of mine.

There seems to be a class of social networker that has bought into the whole thing so completely that they have started to develop a new language, or at least a new way to put words together. I don’t think that this is intentional it is probably more of an unconscious imitative type thing.

If a person seems to fall into this catagory I click on their profile page to see what they put in their one line bio. The results are often hilarious. Here are some of my favorites without the names of the guilty. To anyone that recognizes their own work here. let me know and I’ll be more than happy to remove it but I would seriously suggest changing your bio line – I am sure that it is having the opposite effect to the one that you intend.

Vision worker (pretty sure he doesn’t work at Lenscare)

None of these are intentionally ironic as far as I can see.

It needs to said that there are also some wonderfully incisive and witty one line bios – will post some of those (probably with credits this time) soon.
