McCaskill – Stupak isn’t so bad !!
Anyone remember how Claire McCaskill couldn’t get enough of the progressives and Liberals in the Democratic Party before she was elected to Congress? May have had something to do with the amount of contributions they made to her campaign and the legwork done on her behalf.
She has since veered so far right that she is in danger of bumping into Joe Leiberman. Lukewarm, to be generous to her, on Health care and on the right on just about everything else.
Remember Senator, you will be up for re-election at some point and your new lobbyist friends may be happy to throw some big money at you but nothing compensates for the genuine and tireless support and work of the grassroots.

McCaskill tweeted this at around 8.06 PM which was around the same time that Maddow highlighted her less than stellar support for women’s rights:
No context given, no admission of a previously stated, on the record, opposing view.
Finger in the wind politics maybe but at least she is now on record as being on the right side of this issue.
