More Sleazy Opportunism by the Right

No big surprise here – as soon as the shooter’s Arabic sounding name was released the right wing nut jobs could not contain themselves. With no thought for the dead, their families or the Fort Hood community they hit the microphones and or the social networks with undisguised glee.

No empathy, class or restraint just the instant Pavlovian conversion/ingestion of potential right wing talking points.

I really do miss the old school Conservatives who had enough class not to try to see political advantage in every tragedy. Mind you, it would also be good to have a competent media that all sides would fear enough to make this type of naked opportunism too costly from a political point of view.
