60 plus Association – Pharma Astroturf

Only reason for even mention this is that the so called 60 plus association have started running ads targeting moderate congress critters with the intention of stopping health care reform. They are not who they claim to be i.e. an alternative to the AARP but rather a front group for big pharma. They have zero membership and are funded solely by pharma.

In NW Indiana they are targeting Joe Donelly (IN-4). Donelly voted for the Stupak amendment but also for the bill itself.

The big news that most of the media are missing because a Palin book and a Prejean preen are just so much more important is that pharma has or is about to bail on health care reform and go into direct and open opposition. A much more honest stance if nothing else.
